Residents, team members, families and visitors across Sanders Senior Living came together for a spectacular Summer Screen Soirée, transforming care homes into celebrations of the silver screen while raising funds for Age UK.

The group-wide event saw each home embrace a film-inspired theme, with residents and colleagues dressing as iconic characters and enjoying a day filled with entertainment, music, themed activities and fundraising.

At Claridge Place, residents were transported to the Wild West with a lively High Noon Hoedown, complete with country music, line dancing and cowboy-inspired costumes. Meanwhile, Grace Court brought the energy of Grease to life, with staff and residents dressed as their favourite characters from the beloved musical. Across the rest of the group, homes showcased an array of creative costumes inspired by classic films and memorable movie characters, creating a vibrant atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.

The Summer Screen Soirée formed part of Sanders Senior Living’s ongoing commitment to creating meaningful experiences that bring people together while supporting important causes. Through raffles, donations and fundraising activities held throughout the celebrations, homes raised money for Age UK, helping the charity continue its vital work supporting older people across the country.
