About Us

Meet the Team

We recruit the very best people from the local area wherever possible to create a team of passionate, caring individuals who strive to make your day be the best it possibly can be. They will know and understand your life history, your individual needs and preferences and will be very involved in planning your care with you to ensure it reflects your needs and wishes.

Sanders Senior Living was founded on a vision to create care homes where older people can enjoy the highest standards of comfort, hospitality, and person-centred care. Backed by decades of experience in developing and operating luxury care environments, Sanders Senior Living combines thoughtful design with outstanding care to create places residents are proud to call home.

This expertise has been built over many years through the success of the wider Sanders family of care businesses, including the long-established Runwood Homes group, founded by Gordon Sanders in 1988. His commitment to continually raising standards in care and developing purpose-built homes has helped shape the knowledge, values, and experience that continue to underpin Sanders Senior Living today.

With more than three decades of experience in care home development and operations, Sanders Senior Living continues to invest in beautifully designed homes, exceptional facilities, and dedicated teams, ensuring every resident enjoys a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where they can live life to the fullest.

Frequently asked questions

Please read through our Sanders Senior Living care homes FAQ’s to assist in your search for the most ideal residential care setting. If you have any additional questions, please email info@sandersseniorliving.co.uk or contact the home of your choice directly.

Our weekly fees depend on an individual’s needs following a comprehensive pre-admission assessment. We offer residential care for people with varying care needs.

Our fees are fully inclusive and cover items that are normally billable, for example, hairdressing, foot care, newspapers, local telephone calls, WiFi, alcohol, private dining with friends and family, trips and outings. It is advisable to visit and meet an Admissions Manager in person to see the benefits of what we have to offer.

We are not registered to care for people with nursing needs. Therefore, anyone eligible for this funding would need to find an alternative care home registered for nursing needs.

We value the contribution that having a pet can bring. As long as you are able to care for your pet yourself and we have no other residents or staff with pet allergies, we welcome pets.

Our mini bus goes on regular outings including shopping trips. We also have outings to the theatre and to local pubs and restaurants, so it is a good idea to have a small amount that can be easily topped up.

Our rooms are particularly spacious. Therefore, we have plenty of space to accommodate some personal pieces. We have to have some compliance with safety standards, but bringing in familiar items and furniture pieces from home and personalising your space helps you to settle in.

Yes, providing your GP is local, we would not expect you to change.

Together with you and your family, our skilled and experienced team will devise a care plan that acknowledges your dietary needs and preferences. We will work closely with you to determine your likes and dislikes and ensure there is a menu of options available that accommodates your preferences.

Yes, of course. Unless there is a medical reason, we always encourage trips out and know how much our residents enjoy a change of scenery. All we ask is that you give us advance warning so we can ensure they are properly prepared and that we know roughly when to expect them back.

We have large couples suites suitable for two people to live together. Visit and take a guided tour to determine which of our suites best suits.
