At Graysford Hall care home, as part of our commitment, we grant a special wish to one of our residents every month, and this month, we had the pleasure of granting Giovanni’s heartfelt wish.
Originally hailing from Naples, Italy, Giovanni has been yearning for the authentic flavours of Italian cuisine. Though unable to jet off to Italy, Graysford Hall endeavoured to make his wish come true by arranging a memorable dining experience at Oggi’s in Leicester.
Accompanied by one of our dedicated and hardworking Housekeepers, Giovanni was all smiles as he arrived at Oggi’s on the afternoon of April 26th, smartly dressed and brimming with excitement. Our Wellbeing team organised a luxurious private transfer for Giovanni, ensuring he arrived in style. At Oggi’s, Giovanni was treated to a sumptuous three-course meal, a delightful culinary journey that brought him closer to the tastes and memories of his beloved Naples.
Reflecting on his unforgettable experience, Giovanni expressed his gratitude, stating, “I was recommended by my neighbour/friend to go to Oggi’s on London Road as I was missing some true authentic Italian food. I have tried a few places in Leicester, but I have never visited Oggi’s before. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I will definitely be going back!”
