Beauleigh Court Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, brought a taste of Germany to Leigh-on-Sea on 16 October 2026, hosting its very own Oktoberfest in partnership with local business Leigh-on-Sea Brewery.

The home was transformed with traditional Oktoberfest decorations, creating a festive atmosphere for a day of celebration, bringing together residents, team members and members of the local community.

The team was delighted to welcome Leigh-on-Sea Brewery, who shared insights into the history of the local brewery and explained how their beer is made. Guests also enjoyed a tasting session, sampling four different beers and learning more about the brewing process.

The celebrations continued into the evening, when residents tucked into delicious bratwurst hot dogs, rounding off a memorable day filled with great company, new experiences and plenty of Oktoberfest spirit.

Events such as Oktoberfest play an important role in supporting residents’ wellbeing, providing opportunities to socialise, explore new experiences and reminisce about familiar traditions. By welcoming local businesses and community members into the home, Beauleigh Court helps foster meaningful connections, encourage social interaction and create a strong sense of belonging.
