Beauleigh Court Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, in Leigh-on-Sea recently joined members of the local community at the Southend District Pensioners Open Forum, giving Customer Relations Manager Reece the opportunity to showcase life at the home alongside resident Doris.

Held on 19 August 2026, the event brought together local residents and organisations, with Beauleigh Court hosting a stall where Reece and Doris were able to meet attendees, answer questions and share information about the care home.

Visitors were able to find out more about the facilities, activities and support available at Beauleigh Court, while learning more about the different care options available to individuals and their loved ones.

Events such as the Pensioners Open Forum provide an important opportunity to raise awareness of the support available within the care sector and help local people feel more informed about the choices available to them and their families.

Doris, a resident at Beauleigh Court, was delighted to represent her home and share her own experience with members of the community.

Speaking at the event, Doris said: “I’m Doris, and I am a resident at Beauleigh Court. I have been living at Beauleigh Court for a few months now, and it has everything you could ever ask for in your later years. It’s not just me who feels this way either — everyone who lives and works here is so happy. I really enjoy being part of Beauleigh Court.”

The event was a fantastic opportunity for Beauleigh Court to strengthen its connection with the local community, while giving Doris the chance to proudly share her positive experience of life at the home.
