Eve Belle Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, has marked its fourth birthday with a week-long programme of celebrations, bringing residents, families and team members together for a special week filled with music, dancing, food, culture and cherished memories.
The celebrations began with a sparkling start, as residents and team members dressed in blue, silver and white to mark the special occasion.
Residents who have been part of the Eve Belle family since the home first opened – Sandra, Doris, Frank and Gwen – were given the honour of officially opening the anniversary celebrations. Gwen had the special task of cutting the anniversary cake, before everyone enjoyed an afternoon of live entertainment, dancing and plenty of celebrations.
Tuesday saw the home host its Elite Awards, including the much-loved Family and Residents’ Choice Awards. Residents enjoyed a delicious buffet before watching the awards ceremony, followed by an afternoon party where everyone could come together and celebrate the achievements of the Eve Belle team.
On Wednesday, residents enjoyed an Around the World celebration, sampling dishes inspired by different countries and cultures. Members of the Eve Belle care team dressed in traditional clothing from their home countries, giving residents the opportunity to learn more about different cultures and the stories behind the beautiful outfits.
Thursday began with the home’s monthly church service before residents Mike and Ron took centre stage for a special afternoon of music. Guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés as the pair played instruments and performed classic songs, creating a wonderful atmosphere of singing and enjoyment.
Friday provided an opportunity for everyone to pause and reflect on the past four years at Eve Belle. Residents and team members gathered outside to enjoy cakes and refreshments with friends, reminiscing about the memories made since the home first opened and celebrating how far the Eve Belle family has come.
The celebrations will culminate on Saturday with a spectacular finale, featuring live entertainment from Ian Gallagher and a special buffet prepared by the home’s chef. Families and professionals have also been warmly invited to join residents and the team as they bring the anniversary week to a close.
The fourth birthday celebrations have provided a wonderful opportunity for the Eve Belle community to celebrate everything that makes the home so special, from its residents and families to the dedicated team members who make every day memorable.
With laughter, music, dancing, delicious food, cultural celebrations and countless happy memories, Eve Belle’s fourth birthday has been a success.
