Graysford Hall, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, was delighted to welcome pupils from Leicester Grammar School (LGS) Stoneygate on Wednesday 10 December 2025 for a heart-warming afternoon of Christmas carol singing.
The school’s choir performed a selection of well-loved festive carols, filling the home with seasonal cheer and creating a warm, joyful atmosphere for residents, staff, and visitors alike. The visit brought together residents and pupils to share smiles, conversation, and laughter, highlighting the special connection formed through music.

Following the performance, the children were invited to enjoy refreshments, including snacks and cakes, while spending time with residents and engaging in friendly conversation.
Intergenerational visits such as this play an important role in fostering meaningful connections, supporting residents’ wellbeing, and spreading seasonal joy throughout the home.
Ronni Jones, Customer Relations Manager at Graysford Hall, said:
“Events like this have a profound impact on our residents’ wellbeing. The children brought such energy and warmth into the home, and it was wonderful to see residents and pupils engaging so naturally with one another. These visits create memories that last far beyond the day itself.”
The choir visit was a festive highlight for Graysford Hall, reinforcing the home’s commitment to creating uplifting experiences and strong community connections throughout the year.
