Graysford Hall, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, brought a splash of pink to the home on 23 October 2026, as staff and residents came together to celebrate Wear It Pink Day, raising over £100 for the breast cancer charity.
The home was filled with colour as staff and residents donned their favourite pink outfits to show their support for the important cause. The day featured a variety of activities, including a cake sale, bingo and a pink-themed raffle, bringing everyone together for an enjoyable day of fundraising and fun.
Staff members generously donated to take part by wearing pink, while raffle tickets proved popular throughout the event. Thanks to the generosity of staff, residents and families, Graysford Hall raised over £100 to support Breast Cancer Now and its work in breast cancer research and support.
Lorraine Welham, Home Manager at Graysford Hall, commented: “We felt it was important to raise money for such a good cause and raise awareness, which is why we planned our Wear It Pink Day. Staff, residents and families gave generously and supported us in raising over £100 for Breast Cancer Now.”
At Graysford Hall events like these provide an opportunity to support important causes while bringing residents, staff and families together. The success of Wear It Pink Day reflects the generosity and community at the heart of the home.
