Grace Court care home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, proudly hosted its recent Car Show on 23 May 2026, welcoming residents, members of the Canvey Island community, car enthusiasts, and staff for a vibrant celebration.

The event featured an impressive display of both classical and modern vehicles, offering guests the opportunity to explore a wide range of cars, sit inside selected models, and engage with owners and fellow enthusiasts. The show created a relaxed and welcoming environment where people came together to share stories, interests, and a mutual appreciation for automotive history and design.

Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Katie Relph, Head of Customer Relations, commented: “Individuals from the Canvey Island community said it was a fantastic event and something very much needed for the community. Residents said it was something they were so appreciative to experience, something different. The community also said that the home is beautiful and it was a great way to showcase the home and the work we do.”

A standout moment of the event was resident Bob’s enjoyment of exploring the vehicles and engaging in conversations with fellow car enthusiasts, highlighting the positive social impact of the day.
