Residents at Claridge Place Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, in Solihull were transported to the world of Bridgerton for an elegant afternoon of high tea, live music and celebrations on Monday 21 September.

The home’s Bistro was beautifully transformed for the occasion, with elegant table settings creating a regal and sophisticated atmosphere for residents and their relatives. To embrace the theme, everyone was invited to wear a masquerade mask, adding a fun and theatrical touch to the afternoon.

Residents enjoyed a delicious high tea alongside a selection of cheeses and wine, while being entertained by talented violinist Philip. Performing modern arrangements of well-known classical pieces, Philip provided a beautiful musical backdrop and helped create a special atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

The event was organised by Claridge Place’s Wellbeing Team and Senior Customer Relationship Manager, Stacey Debney-Webber, with residents and their relatives coming together to enjoy the afternoon.

The Bridgerton-inspired celebration provided residents with the opportunity to enjoy something different, encouraging social interaction, conversation and quality time together. Creating experiences such as this is an important part of life at Claridge Place, giving residents exciting events to look forward to and opportunities to celebrate together.

Senior Customer Relationship Manager Stacey Debney-Webber said: “We received some wonderful feedback from our residents following the event, with many commenting on how much they thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

“It was lovely to see everyone embracing the Bridgerton theme, enjoying the beautifully decorated Bistro, wearing their masquerade masks and spending time together over high tea, wine and a selection of cheeses.

“Philip was incredibly talented and created such a wonderful atmosphere with his violin performances. We were delighted with the response to the event and cannot wait to welcome Philip back again in the future.”
