Chelmunds Court, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, welcomed local families and young trick-or-treaters on Halloween evening, 31 October, continuing its annual tradition of bringing residents and the local community together for a spooktacular celebration.
Residents and staff opened the doors to children dressed in their Halloween costumes, handing out treats and enjoying the opportunity to see the imaginative outfits on display. The evening was filled with smiles and friendly interactions, giving residents the chance to share in the excitement of Halloween with families from the surrounding community.
The annual tradition is an important opportunity for Chelmunds Court to strengthen its connection with the local community, encouraging different generations to spend time together and create happy memories.
Parents visiting the home praised the warm welcome they received, with one saying: “We visited last time and it’s always been a joy to interact with the residents and see the children chat with them.”
Another parent commented: “The home is very welcoming and it was nice seeing the residents giving out treats to the children.”
Chelmunds Court is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for residents to remain connected with their local community. Events such as Halloween provide a chance to share special moments, encourage social interaction and celebrate occasions together.
The team looks forward to welcoming the community back for more special moments in the future.
