Residents, families and members of the local community came together at Graysford Hall, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, on Friday 13 February 2026 for a spectacular Valentine’s Ball filled with music, dancing and heartfelt celebration.
The home was transformed into an elegant ballroom for the occasion, complete with beautiful decorations and a warm, romantic atmosphere. The special afternoon featured live entertainment, refreshments and plenty of opportunities for guests to take to the dance floor or simply relax and enjoy the lively surroundings.
Designed to be fully inclusive, the event ensured everyone could take part in a way that suited them, whether dancing with loved ones, singing along to familiar favourites, or enjoying meaningful conversations with friends and family.
The Valentine’s Ball was organised by Ronni, Customer Relations Manager, alongside the dedicated Activities Team and care staff at Graysford Hall. The event welcomed not only residents and their relatives, but also members of the local community, making it a truly shared and intergenerational celebration.
For many residents, the formal occasion rekindled treasured memories of dances and special celebrations from earlier in life. Beyond the joy and entertainment, the event provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections between residents and their families while opening the doors of the home to the wider community.
Ronni, Customer Relations Manager at Graysford Hall, said:
“Our Valentine’s Ball was such a special afternoon for everyone involved. Seeing residents enjoying time with their families and members of the local community, sharing laughter, music and meaningful moments, was incredibly rewarding. Events like this are so important because they remind our residents that love, celebration and connection don’t stop at any age. Creating opportunities for our home to come together like this is at the heart of what we do, and it was truly a joy to be part of.”
