There was joy and celebration at Eve Belle Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, on 8 October 2025 as Resident Peter marked an extraordinary milestone, his 100th birthday.
The home pulled out all the stops to honour Peter’s century of life, with staff and fellow residents gathering to welcome him back from a special birthday lunch with his daughter. A warm and lively atmosphere filled the room as Peter was greeted with cheers and well wishes, setting the tone for a heartfelt and memorable celebration.
Peter expressed his gratitude, saying:
“Thank you very much for celebrating my birthday with me. I am indeed very lucky to have reached this age.”
Adding to the day’s significance was a standout moment when Peter was presented with a congratulatory card from His Majesty the King. With pride, Peter stood to join his Eve Belle family in singing the national anthem.
Celebrating 100 years of life is an incredible honour. It was a truly special day for everyone within the Eve Belle community.
The celebration served as a beautiful reminder of the importance of community, connection, and recognising the lives of those who have given so much over the years.
