Food & Nutrition

Claridge Place offers residents a delicious range of high-quality, chef-prepared meals, with menus thoughtfully created to reflect individual preferences and dietary requirements. Taking a collaborative approach, our chefs work closely with residents, as well as their friends and families, to ensure every meal is both enjoyable and personal. With nutrition always at the heart of mealtimes, our menus follow the British Dietetic Association Care Home Digest guidelines, ensuring every dish is both nourishing and satisfying.

Hello, I’m James, the Senior Home Manager of Claridge Place. I bring over 32 years of experience in health and social care, and I have been the Senior Home Manager at Claridge Place since January 2022. A notable achievement in my career includes being the first Home Manager in Birmingham to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). At Claridge Place, I continue to champion resident-centred care. I believe that residents are at the heart of everything the team does, and I actively involve family members and other key individuals in care planning and decision-making processes to ensure truly personalised support.
