Beauleigh Court Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, created a truly special and heartfelt moment by making resident Bill’s birthday wish come true, ensuring his 98th birthday was celebrated in a meaningful and personal way.
A few weeks before his birthday, Bill shared with staff that he would love to enjoy pork chops for his special day. Determined to make this wish a reality, the team took action. After searching local restaurants and finding pork chops difficult to source, Reece, Customer Relationship Manager at Beauleigh Court., visited a local butchers to purchase pork chops for Bill and his friends.
Bill was then welcomed into the home’s private dining room, where he enjoyed a special birthday meal with his friends, creating a warm and memorable celebration tailored to his wishes. The experience supported Bill’s wellbeing, independence and happiness, and was clearly enjoyed by everyone involved.
The celebration brought together residents and staff, highlighting Beauleigh Court’s commitment to person-centred care and listening to what truly matters to each individual.
