Grace Court care home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, is delighted to share a heartwarming festive story as one of its residents, Carmen, enjoyed a magical night at the pantomime thanks to a special wish being fulfilled this Christmas season.
On 17 December 2025, a trip to see Sleeping Beauty at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon was organised by William, Customer Relations Manager at Grace Court, with the aim of creating a memorable experience for Carmen. Pantomimes are a much-loved British tradition, particularly during the festive period, and this outing brought laughter, joy, and a sense of celebration that Carmen will treasure.
Carmen was joined by William and Megan, a Carer from Sanders Senior Living, for an evening filled with jokes, colourful characters, and festive cheer. Complete with a programme and tasty snacks, the group fully immersed themselves in the classic pantomime experience, making the night both entertaining and meaningful.
This outing reflects Grace Court’s commitment to enriching residents’ lives by sharing joyful experiences and fulfilling personal wishes, especially during a season centred on togetherness and happiness. Moments like these help create lasting memories and reinforce the importance of celebrating what matters most to each individual resident.
