Grace Court care home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, proudly launched its first Fortnightly Charity Coffee Morning on 2 December 2025, marking an important step in strengthening connections with the local community as the home continues its commissioning journey. The event welcomed representatives from Dementia Adventure and St Luke’s Hospice, offering visitors the opportunity to donate, learn, and engage with the invaluable work these charities provide.
Members of the public were invited into the home to meet the attending charities, gain helpful advice, and show their support through donations. Residents and their relatives also joined the morning’s activities, enjoying freshly made coffee, tea, and cakes prepared by Head Chef Sarah.
The event was supported by staff, visitors, and the featured charities, creating an uplifting and welcoming atmosphere for all who attended. As Grace Court’s first charity-focus

ed initiative, the morning played a meaningful role in building community links and highlighting the home’s commitment to supporting local causes.
Reflecting on the success of the day, William, Customer Relations Manager, shared:
“It was so wonderful to see the presence of some amazing charities in our home and show our support for the critical work they do for so many who need it. At Grace Court we know that we will continue to support their cause wherever we can and ensure our local community maintains a vital link to these charities and the help they provide.”
Grace Court looks forward to hosting many more Charity Coffee Mornings and continuing to foster strong relationships within the local community.
