Residents and staff at Beauleigh Court Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, came together on Tuesday 21st October for a truly special celebration, as former Activities Coordinator William returned to the home with his new wife, Megan, to share their special day with everyone.
William, who recently left Beauleigh Court to take up a new role within Sanders Senior Living, had developed a close bond with residents and colleagues during his time at the home. The residents had followed his wedding plans with great excitement, so when William and Megan decided to bring their wedding party to Beauleigh Court to continue the celebrations, it was a moment filled with joy and emotion.
To make the day even more personal, Beauleigh Court’s catering team created a beautiful homemade wedding cake, which the couple cut together surrounded by residents, relatives, and staff. Music played throughout the celebration, with residents throwing confetti and singing along to “Chapel of Love” as the newlyweds arrived, creating a truly memorable atmosphere.
Residents shared how much they enjoyed the celebration, describing it as a beautiful event and expressing delight at seeing the happy couple. Many reminisced about their own wedding days, which made the event even more meaningful.
