Graysford Hall, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, resident Brian enjoyed a special trip back to Quorn, revisiting some of his favourite places and creating new memories along the way.

Brian had expressed how much he would love to revisit Quorn in Leicestershire, a place he regularly visited before moving into the care home. In response to his wishes, the team at Graysford Hall arranged a special trip on the home’s minibus, giving Brian the opportunity to reconnect with some of his favourite places.

Brian knew exactly where he wanted to go first – Pretzels Deli & Coffee Shop. The much-loved café, owned by two sisters, was a familiar favourite for Brian. The sisters recognised him immediately and even remembered his usual order of cherry pancakes with vanilla ice cream and a banana milkshake.

The day continued with a visit to Stafford Orchard Park, where Brian spent many happy days walking his beloved dog, Poppy. Taking a leisurely stroll through the park, Brian enjoyed the fresh air, familiar surroundings and the opportunity to reminisce about times gone by.

The special outing was a wonderful opportunity for Brian to revisit places that mean so much to him, with the support of the Graysford Hall team.
