Residents at Eve Belle Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, were delighted to welcome back a group of adorable teacup Pomeranians on Tuesday 4th August after their previous visit proved to be such a success.

The much-loved therapy dogs returned by popular demand, bringing comfort, companionship and plenty of smiles as they spent time with Residents throughout the home. Residents enjoyed cuddling, stroking and interacting with the tiny dogs, creating heartwarming moments filled with laughter, conversation and fond memories.

For many, the visit sparked stories of beloved pets they had owned over the years, while others simply enjoyed the calming presence and affection the dogs brought. The visit created a warm and uplifting atmosphere across the home, with Residents and team members alike sharing in the joy of the occasion.

Animal therapy is recognised for its positive impact on emotional wellbeing, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and anxiety while encouraging communication and meaningful social interaction. The return of the teacup Pomeranians once again demonstrated just how beneficial these visits can be, leaving residents feeling relaxed, engaged and happy.

Resident June was particularly thrilled by the visit, saying:

“I love dogs and I can have them all day long, I will not get tired!”
