Wilton Manor Lifestyle Lead Finalist for “Let’s Get Moving Melton” Hero Award

Wilton Manor Care Home, part of Sanders Senior Living Group, is proud to announce that Louise Castilla, Lifestyle Lead, has been shortlisted for the Let’s Get Moving Melton, Sports Hero Award, recognising her exceptional contribution to improving residents’ health, mobility and overall wellbeing.

Louise, who leads Wilton Manor’s diverse programme of physical and wellbeing activities, expressed her gratitude at being nominated, saying:
“It is an honour to have been shortlisted for the Get Melton Moving, Sports Hero Award. I find it so fulfilling to help our residents with their physical strength and mobility and their mental wellbeing. Known among residents, families and colleagues for her energy, compassion and creativity, Louise runs an extensive calendar of activities that keep residents active, engaged and uplifted. These include walking groups, gentle boxing, dance sessions, yoga, one-toLouise 2-one mobility support and regular outings to local parks. She ensures that every activity is adapted to suit individual needs, making movement accessible and enjoyable for residents of all ages and abilities.
