Chalkwell Grange recently celebrated the 100th birthday of much-loved resident Mollie, who has lived at the home for nearly three years. To mark the milestone, staff organised a special afternoon tea filled with love.
Mollie enjoyed the day surrounded by her family, fellow residents, and the dedicated Chalkwell Grange team. The afternoon included a beautifully decorated cake, tea and treats, and a joyful singalong of “Happy Birthday.”

One of the day’s highlights was Mollie proudly receiving her official birthday card from His Majesty the King, which she happily shared with everyone. Residents and staff described her as an inspiration, admired for her positivity, kindness, and sharp wit.
