Bellerose Manor Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living group, welcomed members of the local community to its very first event on Sunday 12 July 2026, hosting a Summer BBQ ahead of the home’s official opening.
The event brought together prospective residents, their families, local professionals and neighbours for an afternoon of delicious food, live music and the opportunity to view the new luxury care home.
The Summer BBQ offered local people the chance to experience the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Bellerose Manor before the first residents move into the home, while providing an opportunity to ask questions and discover the high-quality facilities on offer.
More than simply celebrating the opening of a new care home, the event reflected Bellerose Manor’s commitment to becoming an active and valued part of the local community from day one. The home aims to create a welcoming environment where residents remain connected to local life and where families, neighbours and community groups are encouraged to visit, participate in events and build meaningful relationships with residents and colleagues.
Beth Standley, Customer Relations Manager at Bellerose Manor, said:
“We were absolutely delighted to welcome so many people from the local community to our very first event at Bellerose Manor. It was wonderful to see families, neighbours and local professionals coming together to enjoy the afternoon and experience everything our beautiful new home has to offer.
“At Bellerose Manor, we want to be much more than a care home. We want to be a place where the community feels welcome, where people can come together, build friendships and create meaningful connections with our residents. Hosting events like our Summer BBQ is just the beginning, and we’re excited to continue opening our doors for community events throughout the year.
“Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success. We can’t wait to welcome both our first residents and the wider community back to Bellerose Manor very soon.”
