Beauleigh Court Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, love celebrating the wonderful ways residents continue to share their passions and talents — and one resident in particular is helping to keep the home looking bright and beautiful each week.
Doris, a keen gardener and Beauleigh Court’s very own resident florist, enjoys a special weekly outing with a member of staff to purchase fresh flowers and create stunning floral arrangements for the home. On 27th May 2026, Doris was joined by Hannah B, Hospitality Manager, for a lovely trip to the local shops to hand-pick this week’s blooms.
After carefully selecting a beautiful variety of flowers, Doris and Hannah enjoyed a well-earned coffee together before returning to Beauleigh Court, where Doris worked her magic arranging the flowers to brighten and welcome everyone in the home.
This meaningful weekly activity is incredibly important, as it provides residents with a sense of independence, choice, and purpose, while encouraging meaningful involvement in daily life at Beauleigh Court. It is also a wonderful opportunity for residents and staff to spend quality one-to-one time together, creating special moments and lasting connections.
Hannah B shared: “I really enjoy spending one-to-one time with our residents here. I truly value my time out with Doris — it’s lovely to see her choosing the flowers and being so involved. It’s a really special part of the role.”
Doris’s weekly flower arranging is a lovely example of the enriching experiences enjoyed at Beauleigh Court, helping to make our home feel warm, vibrant, and full of life.
