Residents at Beauleigh Court Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, were treated to a delightful and heartwarming performance when young dancers from Tiny Toes Ballet visited the home for a special intergenerational event.

The talented students performed a charming dance piece inspired by the beloved children’s storybook The Very Hungry Caterpillar, captivating residents with their enthusiasm, colourful costumes, and joyful energy. The performance created a vibrant atmosphere filled with smiles and applause, offering residents a memorable morning of entertainment.

Events like these are particularly meaningful for those living at Beauleigh Court. Intergenerational activities provide valuable opportunities for connection, often sparking fond memories of residents’ own experiences caring for their children and families. The visit not only brought joy to residents but also allowed the young dancers and their families to engage in meaningful conversations.

Reece, Customer Relations Manager at Beauleigh Court, shared his thoughts on the event:
“It was adorable seeing the children perform for our residents, and seeing the residents’ faces made my day.”

Natalie, a staff member from Tiny Toes Ballet, added:
“It was such a lovely morning! Our dancers and their parents enjoyed themselves, and it was so lovely speaking with some of your residents too. We’d love to do it again for sure!”

The success of the visit highlights Beauleigh Court’s ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of its residents through engaging and meaningful experiences. The home looks forward to welcoming Tiny Toes Ballet again in the future.
