On 20th September, Terri, Customer and Community Engagement Assistant at Claridge Place Care Home, part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, alongside Michelle (Lifestyle Coordinator) and Rachel (Care Team Leader), proudly participated in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk to honour and support residents living with Alzheimer’s.

Together, the dedicated team raised over £500 to help increase awareness and funding for Alzheimer’s research and support services. The walk was a deeply personal and meaningful event, inspired by the residents of Claridge Place who are living with the condition.

Residents also played a heartfelt role in the event, creating a supportive banner and posing for photos to cheer on the team from home. Their encouragement was a driving force behind the team’s energy and commitment.

The walk concluded with a proud moment as the team crossed the finish line and received their medals, marking not just a physical achievement, but an emotional one as well. The atmosphere throughout was uplifting and full of camaraderie.
