Chalkwell Grange Care Home, part of Sanders Senior Living Group, hosted a vibrant Hawaiian-themed Summer Fete uniting residents, staff, families, friends, and the wider community for an incredible afternoon.
The event featured a BBQ, live singing, a tiki bar, and mini games, creating a festive tropical atmosphere enjoyed by all.
Resident Brenda Mackie expressed her gratitude, saying, “On behalf of all the residents, I would like to say a very big thank you for a smashing day we had yesterday. It was a great success, all your hard work was much appreciated.”
Family member Louise Wright added, “A fantastic afternoon which was full of lots of fun, laughter and smiles from everyone. Thank you to Chenai and her fabulous team for such a great family and friends summer fete.”
A highlight of the day was the performance by the Chalkwell Grange Harmony Choir, who delighted attendees with three songs and even an encore request. The event was filled with cheer and delight, creating a warm atmosphere of unity and connection among all attendees.
