I can honestly say that finding The Belmont as a lifelong home for my mum has been an absolute blessing.

The kindness and care that she is receiving is just fantastic, and to see her so comfortable and happy is truly heart-warming. For us as a family, the realisation that we could no longer look after Mum in the way that she needs and deserves and that residential care was our best option, was really tough. When we met the Home Manager, all our fears, anxiety and feelings of guilt were replaced with the relief that it was all going to be OK. The Manager is the heart and soul of The Belmont, and her ethos of love and kindness underpinning exemplary care is reflected by every single member of her staff and in every aspect of Mum’s day-to-day life. Her well-being is proactively looked after - medically, personally, pastorally and socially, and we are fully consulted and updated at all times.

Since my mother moved into The Belmont, I and all her family have seen an enormous improvement in both her physical and mental well-being.

It is a joy to see her looking so well, interacting with staff and other residents and just generally being at ease, comfortable and happy. When she arrived, she was given a wonderful welcome, which she so enjoyed. All the staff - the managers, the carers and the support staff, have all engaged with her and made her feel like a special individual, which of course she is! The care she is receiving is marvellous - every detail and need she has is attended to swiftly and with empathy and sensitivity when needed, and also in anticipation before she even asks! We invite the local community to be part of The Belmont difference. We run clubs and activity groups so that you can continue with the hobbies and interests you have always enjoyed, or you may explore new and stimulating pursuits that can be shared as a group or merely as a solo experience.

All dining rooms are beautifully furnished and create an admirable ambience; a delight in which to enjoy your meals. We also have a private dining room, a beautiful space where you can enjoy family celebrations in style.

Our Therapy Room and Hairdressing Salon provides a selection of treatments which are complimentary as well as a menu of luxurious experiences, which are a special treat when you feel like being truly pampered.

We have spacious areas to sit and chat or to find a cosy nook to read your favourite book or daily newspaper. The luxurious cinema is available at any time to enjoy an old favourite or the latest blockbuster. We also have dedicated viewings where we screen popular selections.

Ground Floor Suites

A number of the large, beautifully decorated suites benefit from patio doors leading out to a furnished courtyard area within the grounds. Other suites have large windows that fill the room with light. There are a mix of profile beds and divan beds, and each suite has its own spacious wet room.

Suites are furnished with large wardrobes and seating, with room for more furniture if desired. Plus, there’s a telephone and television. We have some interconnecting suites, suitable for couples or friends.

We have a number of suites on the Ground Floor with adjoining private suites, including a plush seating area, television and kitchenette, complete with a microwave, toaster and kettle.

First Floor Suites

The suites in Reminiscence are a mixture of soft and hard flooring and all profiling beds. There is a large, wall mounted television, seating and plenty of space for belongings in the wardrobe. Each suite has its own spacious wet room.

Second Floor Suites

Our spacious suites on The Penthouse floor have their own wet room, as well as large wardrobes, seating, television and telephone.
