The Belmont hosts the largest summer fête in the heart of Worcester

The largest summer fête at The Belmont care home welcomed families, residents and the community on Saturday the 19th of August.

The care home invited a variety of community organisations to make the day extra special including beauty and skincare stalls, a crochet stall, and a local business displaying wildlife nature photography.

There were several exciting activities for families and children to enjoy, including lucky dip stalls, raffles and a bouncy castle. Attendees also enjoyed a refreshing cold treat from the ice cream van on site.

The residents at The Belmont were very actively involved throughout the day. The care team organised resident-run stalls selling a variety of crafts and items. It is important to promote inclusion and independence for The Belmont’s residents, enriching their lives by engaging in events tailored to the local community.

To help raise money for St Richard’s Hospice, the care home team and residents organised a raffle with a number of exciting items to win.

There was an afternoon of entertainment and upbeat music provided by Stepping Out Daytime Discos, a local community DJ who operates throughout Worcester.

Tours were available for all who attended this year’s summer fête, allowing guests a perfect opportunity to explore the open-air quadrangle, multi-level sun terraces and exceptional features that The Belmont has to offer.

The Belmont care home is a stunning, state-of-the-art community for seniors, and is the third care home within the highly regarded Sanders Senior Living collection.

Set over three floors, the luxurious care home features a cinema, spa suite, hairdressing salon, cocktail bar, exquisite lounges, library, private dining and bistro restaurants.
