Mayor of Melton Mowbray ‘breaks ground’ at site of brand-new Sanders Senior Living luxury care home
The team at Sanders Senior Living were honoured to invite the Mayor of the Borough of Melton Mowbray, Cllr Alan Hewson, to the site of the new development in the esteemed Sanders Senior Living portfolio. The private senior living Group offers premium facilities and a quality environment for residents to call home, providing them with a rich and engaging lifestyle to really feel part of a community.
On the 19th of May, the Mayor met with the team working on the project, including Sanders Senior Living’s Estates Director, Tom Sanders, Contract Manager, Jim Fowler, Architect Barry Mullen and Associate Director of Sales and Marketing, Gill Petters.
To commemorate the new development, the Mayor was invited to ‘break ground’ with the Sanders Senior Living branded gold shovel and in the company of the team. The breaking ground ceremony will be the first event of many at the site and shows the anticipation of everyone involved in bringing a new luxury care home to Melton Mowbray.
The Mayor commented:
“It was great to see the site of Melton Mowbray’s latest care home and to meet the Sanders Senior Living team. I am very much looking forward to seeing the finished build and to see first-hand the services and facilities this luxury care home will provide for members of the community."

The latest Sanders Senior Living care home will be home to exceptional features and facilities that will enhance the lives of residents. The development will feature 60 beautifully furnished bedrooms with ensuites, a dementia café, hair salon, social lounges and expansive outdoor spaces.
