Cinema
Our 8-seater cinema can screen movies, concerts and sports matches all day long, so there is no need to queue. There is also the ability to watch religious services or favourite TV shows on the big screen in the company of others.
We continue to follow government guidance in relation to visiting in care homes. Government have confirmed there are no changes to visiting in care homes, although restrictions are removed for the general public. We welcome an unlimited number of visitors and respectfully ask that visitors continue to have a negative LFD test prior to visiting, pre-book your appointment, and wear a face mask. Thank you for your support.
All our suites come fully furnished but are spacious enough for you to bring in some of your treasured pieces if you wish. Our Terrace suites on the ground floor all have patio doors which open onto small patios at the front of the Hall or the large garden terrace which wraps round the southern and eastern aspects.
Reminiscence has several large suites with a mixture of divans and profiling beds. This floor is wide and airy with plenty of space to feel unrestricted.
On the Penthouse floor, the suites are substantially larger, some over 40 square metres and have their own kitchenette for complete privacy and independence. This floor also has a bar area for enjoying a sociable evening drink with friends and family.

The library is a lovely spot for reading the morning paper with a coffee. Just order a daily paper from our reception and we can deliver it to your room, or you can collect it from reception. Our carefully curated selection of books and games can be enjoyed in this sunny area.
The bistro is the destination of choice for most residents for a coffee and home-baked goods. The ‘lighter bites’ menu is available throughout the day for sandwiches, salads and soups if you don’t want a 3-course meal in the dining room. On sunnier days, our vast terrace near the Victorian Walled Garden is an ideal destination for sipping a cocktail or enjoying pre-dinner drinks with friends.
A barista-style coffee is available during the day using our own carefully selected freshly ground beans or we have a menu of custom blend juices.
On our Penthouse floor, some of our suites contain small kitchenettes which are suitable for people who are assessed as requiring lower levels of care.
Whilst all the support is available as a standard, we do not wish to diminish the independence of someone who wishes to take care of themselves for as long as they can, just with the reassurance of having someone on hand 24 hours a day if required.
Sanders Senior Living are winning a reputation for putting lifestyle as being of equal importance as personal care. Your mental wellbeing has a huge impact on your physical wellbeing. With this in mind, we devise daily plans of activity which include physical exercise, and arts and crafts. There will also be regular trips out as well as various clubs to reflect the interests of those living here, be they choir groups, walking, bridge or art clubs.
We have twice daily film showings and all of our staff sit down together at 11am when it is ‘Time for Tea’. It doesn’t have to be tea of course, if you prefer a pre-lunch sherry – but everyone sits together and shares in conversation.
There will always be a ‘Juice of the Day’ at the bar and barista-style coffee with our own Sanders ground beans is available every day.
We will always listen if you have ideas on how we can improve the level of service you receive.
