This, along with subtle hints to the theming in the wallpaper and accessories, enables residents to easily identify each different room, which helps with wayfinding. Creating a home where each area has its own unique characteristics gives residents the confidence to find their own way around the home if preferred, thereby increasing a sense of independence and familiarity.
We will create a dedicated care plan which addresses all aspects of your life, the choices you have made and the way you want your care delivered. We review this every month or whenever there is a change, either prompted by your choices or your care needs. You and your loved ones, if that is your wish, will be fully included in any changes to care.
We use a state-of-the-art electronic medication administration system, which helps us to achieve accurate delivery of medication at a time that suits you and your general physician. If you are currently registered at a GP practice near our home, you will be able to stay with your surgery.
We provide memory care on our Reminiscence floor for those people who need a little extra support due to having some memory loss or are living with the early stages of dementia. Our dedicated team will assist you to decide if this is the right environment to be supported in.
Our memory floor comprises beautifully appointed suites, welcoming communal areas, and more. Residents will be supported to enjoy a film in our ground floor cinema, take part in a host of activities or out on trips on our own mini-bus.
